A paver system is practical and the perfect solution for a pool deck as it can allow access to pool plumbing years after the deck has been installed. It’s built for Texas living because travertine and marble paver offerings provide a product that will stay cooler than alternatives even on the hottest of days. Finally, they’re beautiful. Whether it’s a modern porcelain or a rustic traditional paver, any desired look can be achieved.

Pool Pavers Patterns & Textures

Mediterranean Terracotta

A pool deck that feels like Scottsdale can feel like you’re 1,000 miles from home. After a long week, stepping outside onto your paver pool deck with a glass of wine is like stepping into another world entirely.

Mid-Century Modern

Simple. Minimalist. Vintage. A mid-century modern pool surface is reminiscent of the days before cell phones. The days when gathering in the backyard was the best way to kill a summer day in Texas.

Mountain Vibes

More often than not, our clients prefer to have the backyard coalesce with the front of the home. Every once in a while, somebody says I want to feel like I’m somewhere else. Head for the mountains.

Spanish Dreams

There isn’t much that creates an air of relaxation like cuddling up under a blanket near a Spanish villa with a bottle of red wine. If the right combination of pavers is selected, that could just be a Tuesday night.

Hill Country Charm

The hidden gem of Texas is our Hill Country. A paver pool deck carved into the Texas landscape is an oasis most can’t understand but, for a select few, it’s simply the backyard experience they get to call home.

Grecian Travertine

There is no way around it, the Texas sun is hot. One great way to combat its impact is by selecting a light-colored travertine or marble paver. It can make bare feet bearable even in July.

Benefits of Pool Pavers

Non-Slip Surface

One of the key benefits of pool pavers is their non-slip surface, which enhances safety by reducing the risk of accidents and injuries around the pool, even when wet. Their textured finish and slip-resistant properties provide peace of mind for pool users.

Long Term Cost Savings

Pool pavers offer long-term cost savings by virtue of their durability, as they can withstand constant exposure to pool chemicals, water, and the elements without deteriorating.

Simple to Fix

Individual pavers can be easily replaced if they become damaged, eliminating the need for extensive and costly repairs. This ease of repair not only ensures the pool area remains aesthetically pleasing, but it also contributes to cost-efficiency and minimal downtime.

High Sustainability

The permeable design of pavers allows rainwater to penetrate the surface, reducing the risk of puddling and promoting groundwater recharge. Additionally, their long lifespan and potential for reuse make them an environmentally friendly choice, minimizing waste and the need for frequent replacements.

Paver Installation Process

1. Surface Prep

The initial installation step includes excavating around 8” in preparation for the compacted base to be brought in.

2. Tailoring

A paver pool deck in Texas must not only be beautiful but it requires utility throughout both the summer and winter.

3. Crafting

From the orientation of the paver in relation to the gentle sloping created for drainage, our experienced team will sift through the details.

4. Walkthrough

We’ll complete your space and deliver you a space where new memories can be made all summer long.

Paver Costs

It’s not as simple as providing a square footage price as there are endless site specific details that will impact your cost. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best paver to use around a pool?

It depends on the goal but, if heat is a major concern, travertine or marble can make a lot of sense.

How to clean pool pavers?

A garden hose and a broom can go a long way. Of course you can use a pressure washer set to a low setting; you'll just need to be careful around the polymeric sand.

How to level pool pavers?

Unfortunately, we don’t relevel existing pavers as we need to know that the base was compacted and installed properly before we’ll attach our name to the project.

Can you paint pool pavers?

While we suppose it’s possible, we’ve never experienced that choice having been made and we’ve been in over 50,000 backyard. Paint would not only lack durability, it would be slippery and hot.

Do pool pavers require maintenance?

Yes. Anything outdoors will require some level of maintenance. Depending on the type of installation we perform, it can range from resetting the pavers, repairing the base, replacing the polymeric sand or even resealing the pavers themselves.
